The macro, Keymacro, was designed to allow users to easily enter keyboard macros for repetitive tasks. This is particularly useful for editing video files.
It allows the user to select a video file and specify any number of commands which are to be inserted into the file. Each command is a sequence of keystrokes. The user can choose to repeat a command or use the user-defined commands as a pattern for future files.
FEATURES:

SETTINGS:
Keymacro works in conjunction with a separate application called Etymonix SoftReel for additional macro editing features. The SoftReel application allows the user to view and edit macro commands and patterns.
The settings for SoftReel are contained in a separate.txt file which is stored with the application.
PURPOSE:
Keymacro allows the user to specify a series of keystrokes and have them inserted into a video file.
For example, you can create a macro that automatically puts a clip from a video file into a sequence.
Since this application is software-only, it can be used in any video editing program that supports DirectShow.
CONTROLS:
Keymacro allows the user to control the video playback with the following controls:
– Play: If the video file is currently playing, you can advance the video with this button. If the video is not playing, this button will toggle between playing and not playing.
– Pause: Pause the video playback.
– Stop: Stop the playback of the video file.
– Next: Go to the next frame in the video file.
– Previous: Go to the previous frame in the video file.
– Save Macro: Save the currently selected macro.
– Load Macro: Load the macro with the currently saved macro number.
– Restore Macro: Restore the last-used saved macro.
– Exit: Exit Keymacro.
USAGE:
KEYMACRO requires a separate program called Etymonix SoftReel. The SoftReel application has an application icon in the Windows taskbar that the user can click to open and use the program.
